New, a miniature teddy bear in fabric in my Etsy Store

I have something new in my store, a teddy bear pattern, yes, but in fabric.
I wrote the pattern with the help of my dear friend Liz Walker, one year ago.

I would like to make the same insertion than I made for a crochet teddy bear, but into a fabric, without using glue.

A Thread/Clay Teddy Bear

For a first time, I made a teddy bear and I mixed two medium, clay and thread.

I did not have any clue how to attach the legs and the arms.  For the head, no problem, a disc-joint and it worked, but...

Finally yesterday, a sparkle in my brain and I found a technique to attach them.

I put her on EBay and her name is Danica.

So, the body is crocheted and I added a beaded skirt and a crochet collar.

She has been created and designed by me : Chantal Giroux. Sherylyn is a little 5 inches Teddy Bear girl, when standing on her legs, made from a soft mix of fibers. Her face is finished with gentle shadings and needlefelted for a part. She is filled with new materials and 5way jointed. She has an embroidered and glazed nose. She has a ribbon around her head and 2 mini bows on each side of her head. She will arrive home with her toy, an antique teddy bear, made and designed by me also.

She is made from a soft long pile faux-fur fabric. (silver and brown)
Her nose is made from clay and I added claws.

First snow in my area

Yes, winter arrived today ; we received 15-20 cms of snow, great for the outside Christmas lights, but... snow is snow...my husband took pictures of a blue jay ; poor him...

I'm finishing 2 bears, but I took a break and I jad 2 blue jays on my deck.

They are so nice.

The dog of my Mom passed away a few weeks ago and she is so sad that I decided to make a Yorkie for her ; I used long synthetic fur that I painted ; it took a long time for creating the little one, but I'm proud of the result.

Today I'm finishing a project Mistery Crochet Teddy Bear ; Karen wrote the pattern ; I don't have the use to follow any pattern because my finished teddy is very different than the one on the pictures ; now, it was a project without any image... so, I was free to give the look I wanted to give.

Today we saw our first Hummingbird ; I like them ; I tried to take picture through the window where they come drinking the nectar we prepare for them ; but it's too early in the season ; they are very afraid ... and my cats do not help me at all.
So my husband took a picture ... a wonderful one....

A New creation is born for Chantal Bears

It was a long long time that I tried to add polymer clay to my crocheted bears.

I worked on babies first adding a soft body and I decided to do nearly the same thing.

I like the result.

For the body and the part of the head, I did not follow any pattern and I sculpted also the crocheted part.

A very interesting experience.

Today I took pictures of a pic mineur, wood picker (not sure of the translation)

Mother Nature is always giving very precious moments in the day.
