I'm still there

For the moment, I'm working on a new technique for my bears, but you will understand that I will not publish any picture now. My blog is followed by the person in Europe who stole my idea a few months ago. You can see that she comes often on the widget I have on the right column of my blog.
However, I can tell you that the technique is a little tricky,  but the result is amazing.
I'm working on my bears in thread and I have now new friends for the bears in fabric.
A long process, but I will show you the result very soon when the whole edition will be ready.

New kittens

This week-end, Bella gave us 3 new babies, Spock, Tibuddy and Bilulu.
The story of Bella, a rescued cat who decided 2 months ago to live with us.
She was outside, with nobody to take care of her, and -30 as temperature.
We asked to people around if Bella belongs to someone...and no, she was alone.
What we did not know, she was pregnant, at the very beginning of her pregnancy.
So, labor was long and she has been very courageous but she needed our help with the second one, who was presenting his back in place of the head.
So, she lost a lot of strength there and we had to help her for the third one too.
We think that we have 2 males and 1 girl. ...but we will see.....
And our surprise, one has a short tail, I will show you, on pictures I took.

A little post to show you, my little ones in progress, a little bunny and a puppy.

First place in a Russian contest

I have to share a news arrived yesteday.  I followed an online class with Helena Yukhanova in December 2014.  We submitted our picture and after that she organised a contest.
I followed the class more for learning a new technique and honestly, she changed my way and my life in bear making even in thread teddy bears.
As I 'm preparing bears for 3 shows, I  decided to put Raina, the preview bear for the Winter Stars online show, as the contest participant, and she won.
