Two events on Etsy

New pattern : a new pattern has been released on Etsy,Tabitha Pattern.

Let me introduce my newest Thread Crochet Teddy Bear Pattern, made from thread.

Crochet Level: Medium and Advanced Beginners

The pattern contains 11 pages of clear instructions and a lot of pictures.
This is a pattern that will bring your own creativity to a new level,
you can do what you want with this pattern, change colors, change style, everything can be changed.
Your creativity will be your only limit, but it will always give you a great bear.
The important feature in this creative pattern is a special filling; your teddy bear will be pose able.
You will need cotton thread and a crochet.

Work in Progress

I decided to design a new teddy bear for my patterns.
The process is longer than usual because I'm doing a few teddy bears from the new pattern.

Yesterday, I took pictures of 2 of them. Four have been made.
Not formal pictures, but I liked to show them in my studio....

And I used the free Editor Photoscape, recommended a fellow  teddy bear artist.
Today, I will write the pattern, the draft...
I used a new technique, not new, but new for my little ones.
The teddy bear can take any positions with the filling I used.
The result is surprising and great.

Thanks for reading.

Sugar, my baby boy, passed away

Sad day, yesterday, Sugar is gone. He was such a beautiful Siamese we rescued 2 years ago.
However, our neighbors decided to put poison around our house and Sugar has been caught by the human stupidity, cruelty.

Sugar was a good Dad for his little ones, a good boy for us and his baby-sitter, Dianne, giving his love to all of us.

We will miss him.

I love you, my Sugar Baby Love.

The City where I was born

A friend of mine published a video about Kolwezi, the city where I was born and spent my childhood, until 17 years old.
I never went back there, but it stayed in my heart... And a lot of memories, all my family was there.., friends... We were like a family there, only 2550 people in the city, knowing each other very well.
I think that I had to show you that part of my life.

When I see the sun there...all the year...
Life was not very easy, but we were children and everything was pink, with no problems.

I understand now my choice to live in Canada, a large country with nature, animals and bears.
However, the sun is missing... But we have snow...

Work in progress

For the moment, I'm writing a new pattern... And here are the pictures I took yesterday night.
One bear is in progress and the other one is waiting to dry after dyeing with coffee.

Our lazy cat, Figaro

I could not wait to show you pictures of my big boy, Figaro....
I was preparing the blankets for laundry, when he decided to take a nap.
Guess what.... I waited he was awake to take the blankets...
