Jasmine, OOAK Mini Anime Bear Artist by Chantal Bears

I'm pleased to introduce Jasmine, my newest creation.This is a mini Teddy bear Girl created and designed by me, Chantal Giroux. Jasmine is a big 3 inches bear when standing on her legs, made from a mix of different fibers (thread) ; her sweet features have been embroidered with fine embroidery thread. I needle sculpted her face giving her a baby look.Her face is finished with gentle shadings.

She is filled with a new material, five way jointed and I weighted her. She has black glass eyes. She has a bow and 2 mini organza roses and a ribbon around her neck.Her legs and her arms have been wired ; so she can drink her bottle by herself.Her paws have been needdle sculpted.She is so sweet and has a lot of love to give.I'm sure she will find a sweet Mommy soon.

This week end was a long one because of the Victoria Day.

Today I'm finishing a project Mistery Crochet Teddy Bear ; Karen wrote the pattern ; I don't have the use to follow any pattern because my finished teddy is very different than the one on the pictures ; now, it was a project without any image... so, I was free to give the look I wanted to give.
Birs Again.
Today we saw our first Hummingbird ; I like them ; I tried to take picture through the window where they come drinking the nectar we prepare for them ; but it's too early in the season ; they are very afraid ... and my cats do not help me at all.
So my husband took a picture ... a wonderful one....

Mom's Day. Bears and Birds

I have been spoiled for Mom's Day ; calls from Johannie in Belgium, my little grandson Darren, call from Laura and her visit with bears accessories and gloves for gardening, roses, photos viewer so little as a credit card from my dear teddy bear husband.
A friend gave me a cat sculpture and a mini rose.
It was my day.
We spent a big part of the afternoon home and Alain and me, we took pictures of birds.
I don't know the name in English but it's such a beautiful bird, red, pink, brown...
I took also a picture of a yellow one, singing so well.
I finished also my little bear, Nilceia ; I think but I have to measure her ; she is only 2 inches.
