2007 Christmas and more

Yesterday we went to see the Saint John Christmas Lights ; here are the pictures I took.

I lost all my Christmas outdoor decorations because of the storm we had last week ; some of us have been more lucky.

Magical is Christmas time.

And for the teddies world :

It's now 2 weeks I'm working on a yorkshire terrier dog ; a long long work to paint the fur.

I have just been tagged by my very talented Bears Sister Patricia Knight. She is a great artist ; I like all she is creating because they inspire tenderness.

4. I had an accident after a surgery 10 months ago ; I lost a part of the right eye vision ; my teddy bears family (family, friends and bears, my collectors) helped me and continue to help me in a big fight.
5. I'm dreaming to become better organized.
My life is staying home, making my little creations, surrounded by my family.

First Snow here in Saint John

It was the first real one ; I took the picture at 7 am on November 11th..

They are a little dark but they showed how much snow we received.

The snow is still there today .....

We are ready for the white powder ;o))))

I'm pleased to introduce Abela, my newest creation.
This is a miniature Thread teddy bear made by me, Chantal Giroux.
My patterns are uniquely designed from start to finish by myself. I don't follow any patterns ; my bears are unique, and coming straight from my heart to your home.
All materials for my bears are new.
Abela is an adorable 3 inches little girl is made from from a mix of thread and is fully jointed.
Her sweet features have been embroidered with fine embroidery thread.
She has black glass eyes.

She has a bow on her head and an organza ribbon around her neck.
She wears a crocheted dress with a beaded bow on her body.
She will arrive with the Christmas ornament I created for her.

She is sweet and has a lot of love to give.
She comes from a smoke-free home.

I need to take rest

3 weeks ago, I was playing volley ball in my garden... and I fell...


I broke my right thumb ; the first failure is repaired but not the second one at the wrist level....





Patience... will be my best therapy... GRRRR.....





We spent yesterday a very good Halloween ; Darren, the SpiderMan, came back with a huge bag of candies.





We had 50 children that we spoiled a little ; all were so cute with their costumes ...and ... guess what..... Dobbi the dog became a devil ... I like the picture but he was so excited ... the picture is a little blurry...

I will go to work slowly to my new bear... I think he will be cute.. I'm using a faux-mink fabric....
I'm sure that the he will become she as usual !!!!
