Orchids

My daughter, Johannie, made ​​me want to have orchids ; my dear husband, bought me two. A white one and a purple.
It seems it is not easy to take care of these plants.
My younger daughter has one also ; she has 19 flowers on one stem ; I'm not so lucky...  For now, they are doing well, we'll see in the future if they will love their new home.
Here are my 2 new "babies" :

The weather today in New Brunswick-Canada

Yesterday when the weather channel told us that we will have heavy snow, I did not believe it (April 1rst !!!!)  however, they were right....... look the pictures !!!!

  

A Cuuuute Story to share

I sold a teddy bear a few days ago ;  the lady was so happy when she received the parcel, that she took pictures and sent them to me to show where she put the little bear.
Can you imagine, as an Artist, the joy and happiness that lady brought to me.
I know that my little one is safe and in good hands !!!!!
Thank You, teddy bears !!!!  you make our life more beautiful, filled with love, friendship and lovely people.
I think I had to publish my story and show another side of our Artist life that we rarely talk about which is the human contact with awesome people.

fabric.Standing
just over 5 inches - 12 cm tall.
Her face is finished with handpainted gentle
shadings.
She has black glass eyes, embroidered and
glazed nose.
She
is 5 way jointed.  Her head
is wobble jointed.
Firmly stuffed with premium
polyfiberfill. Lou wears a ribbon
around her neck, am assorted bow 
on her head.
She has been weighted with
steel beads.
