I'm pleased to introduce my newest creation "Mona".
This is a mini Teddy bear created and designed by me, Chantal Giroux.
My patterns are uniquely designed from start to finish by myself coming straight from my heart to your home.
All materials for my bears are new.


Mona is an adorable little girl ; she measures 5 inches when standing, made from a soft and dense faux mink ; her sweet features have been embroidered with fine embroidery thread.
Her face is finished with gentle shadings.
She is filled with a new material, five way jointed and I weighted her.


Mona has a bow on her head and a beaded necklace around her neck.


She has black glass eyes.
Her nose is clay and glazed.

She comes from a smoke-free home.

She is so sweet and has a lot of love to give.

I'm sure she will find a sweet Mommy soon.

A few thing for today Bears, Bears.....

First : the URSA contest for the first round is closed ; we will have to wait until the 10th of August to know the name of the 33 contestants.

I was very nervous, yesterday, but I will have to wait...

2. I finished a little Anime Butterfly bear ; her name : Nuella.

3. Yesterday I sent my reindeer to Berta for the round robin ; he is cute....
The pattern was designed by Kelly and I have to make him.
I sent also my pattern ; we will see the result.

She has a little toy, another mini teddy bear thaat she will bring to her new Mom.

My little bear is nearly finished ; I'm sewing clothes for her.



I don't have any pictures for now, perhaps tomorrow.


However, I took pictures of humminbirds ; with a lot of patience, here is the result. Mother Nature gives us so beautiful things sometimes.

Before they were eated by my dear husband, I took also pictures of the cherries in the garden

And the painting of the patio is finished ; I like the dark brown on the wood

Today, another hot day in Saint John ; I'm finishing a teddy bear for Berta round Robin ; I had to change the pattern of Kelly, she did so a good job, that's I'm ashame to change what she did. It's a wonderful pattern

I took pictures for my daughter Laura, who is making bears also. That's a Panda Bear and I think she put it on Ebay.

And yesterday I designed a new teddy ... the big part of the head is done ; he is cute.

The fabric is awesome, soft and long, dense also.

Again a picture I just took a few seconds ago.

After working nearly a full week on Vanina, I finally finished her this morning at 6 am.
I think that today I will take a day or a night off.
The result is fantastic however ; I used a very soft and dense faux fur.
I tried to add pictures but it doesn't work.... :0((
I made a crochet collerette, but in last minute I decided to keep it for another one.

After tatting the collar for Regina, my new teddy bear, I put her on Ebay today evening.

The collar is in tatting, 3 rows, I designed it myself ; I used a cotton 20 ; I do not have the use of size 20, so sometimes the picots were too small.

Finally I like the result and Regina is so cute ; I redrawed the bear pattern also, changing the legs and the arms.

Christmas is finished ; I went back to tatting... but with my bears ; for Clio, I made a serie of shamrocks and chains. Next time I will add a new row.
I was missing tatting but now, I can combine bears, dolls and tatting.
